Hole in one for Willms
By Dan Jensen

Whistle Stop owner Diana Charbonneau presents a hole in one bag tag to Zach Willms.

It takes most people a lifetime to record a hole in one, if they ever do.

It took Zach Willms only four years.

The ten-year-old son of Sean and Shannon Willms aced the 113-yard par three second hole at The Whistle Stop Golf Course July 8.

"I didn't actually see it go in the hole because the sun was in my eyes," said Zach, who used a three wood.

"When I got close and saw it was in the hole I was pretty excited."

Zach has been golfing almost every day this summer.

"I like to get out on the course any time I can," he said.

"Usually it is about three or four times a week."

Whistle Stop presented Zach with a hole-in-one bag tag to commemorate his achievement.
