Past agricultural leaders sought by Stampede

In celebration of the Calgary Stampede’s Centennial, the 2012 Western Legacy Awards will recognize 100 individuals who have made or are making outstanding community contributions within the province of Alberta.
You can nominate someone who has made a great impact on Alberta. All nominators will be entered into a draw for a VIP Stampede Surprise Pack to the 2013 Stampede.
Criteria and guidelines for nominations: The nominee may be living or deceased. The nominee must have made an impact to Alberta and either have been born in Alberta or have lived in the province.
Nominations close on Wednesday, Aug. 15. All nominations will be reviewed by a jury with the 100 honourees announced this fall.
