In loving memory of Anne Petruk who passed away July 28, 2009 If Roses Grow in Heaven If roses grow in Heaven Lord Please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mothers arms and tell her theyre from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, But there is an ache within my heart That will never go away. She shared her hope and courage When we looked into her eyes, Her laughter brought us endless joy And her work was warm and wise. The gentle touch of kindness We felt in her embrace We shall see the light from heaven When it shines upon her face. Asger, Annette, Bob, Brenda Steiner Randy August 7, 1989 Tony July 29, 1998 Marg June 11, 2005 We do not need a special day, To bring them to our minds. The days we do not think of them, Are very hard to find. God knows how much we miss them, Never shall their memory fade. Loving thoughts shall never wander, To the spot where they are laid. God gave us strength to take it, And courage to bear the blow. But what it meant to lose them, No one will ever know. Love the Family |
