The Chuck MacLean Arts Centre is pleased to announce that it is part of a cross Canada tour of the Crystal Journey, performed by David Hickey www.crystaljourney.ca on Sunday, April 15, at 7:30. Cost is $25.

Come and explore Sacred Spaces and Special Places with Camrose Camerata in concert.

Directed by Joy-Anne Murphy, for this concert the community choir will present music ranging from vocal jazz to German choral classics, from a famous opera chorus to choral speech.

The Camrose and Area Grateful Grannies group had much to celebrate recently at their second birthday. In the two years since the group began, they have raised close to $46,000 for the Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

Recently I had a GIC which matured. When re-investing it, I had to take a three-year term to get a mere 2.15 per cent. At the same time I had a notice that the rent would be going up five per cent. Who is making the money?

Canadians, the true owners of their natural resources, continue to be the losers as the energy companies out-maneuvered our governments when allowed to develop our energy resources.
